Once our application is installed, BigCommerce will present extra shipping related fields for you to edit your products shipping information and details.
- To begin, you need to synchronize your Magento 2 to your SHIPMOUNT. From your Magento 2: Stores > Synchronize with SHIPMOUNT.
All values assigned to products will not be deleted automatically. i.e: if you created and then deleted a group called CHAIRS, it will remain undeleted from Magento up until you remove it by un-assigning it from all products.
- From Products > Catalog, then select which product you want to add to the Shipping Group, Origin or Pickup.
- To assign products, locate the shipping tab under your product details.
- Now select any of Shipping Group, Box, Origin or Pickup.
- Click Save
Magento 2 products will be attached to the designated group once you have completed the above instructions. Carrier rules or modifications can now be made only for these product groups.
With Shopify, you’re required to assign different attributes to products when you want to set rules for them. Attributes include origins, shipping groups or dimensions of the product, for example. They can be bulk group or individually updated. We’ll explain in more detail:
